Project Summary:  The objective of this project is to capture and tag spring Chinook parr in the upper reaches of the Chiwawa River basin in order to estimate the number of winter migrating parr and the subsequent yearling emigrants.  Data generated from this project will enable more refined natural production estimates and SAR’s to be calculated, thus improving management decisions aimed at increasing natural production of Chiwawa River spring Chinook.
