Apply Any Time, for Any Amount
You Don’t Have to be Affiliated with a State agency
Anyone, Individual or a Group can submit a grant application, affiliation with a state resource management agency is not necessary. Grants are awarded to those applicants, whose projects best meet the goals of the Settlement Agreement and the Committee’s Mission:
“To fund and support sustainable long-term, cost effective projects
that protect or restore fish and their habitat above the McNary Dam.”
Included in the application are the specific criteria the Committee uses when considering funding. The actual amount requested has no bearing on the decision as there is no minimum or maximum allowed. The grants are reviewed on an on-going basis and do not have to be submitted during a specific cycle.
Below are links to the Preliminary Proposal and Grant Application. The Preliminary Proposal can be submitted if you are unsure your project meets the required criteria. The committee will review the proposal and contact the applicant either to request a full application, clarification-additional information or offer feedback as to why the committee feels the Project does not qualify for Grants funds.
